A lot has happened in the two years since we thought "let's make a place on the internet where you can find all the arts & culture going on in Ballard". Fortunately one of those things is putting the fine tuning in on this site to get it really ready for you. 

So, what is it? 

Greater Ballard Arts is a place for you to see what is happening in the neighborhood. This home page will soon be filled with posts about artists and events - though for now they'll be mostly online. 

Anyone in Ballard can submit their events for free. There's never a fee because when the arts community is well-supported, we all benefit. 

Greater Ballard Arts is a program of Push/Pull. Push/Pull is an artist cooperative in the heart of Ballard. Part of Push/Pull's mission is to support sustainable careers for artists and to connect artists with people in the community. We think this is a great next step for our organization. 

To submit your event, use the Submit an Event link in the menu. Your event will automatically populate in the calendar with the text information. We'll manually review your event and add photos within a few days. We may also contact you about doing a blog post to help promote your event.

Welcome to Greater Ballard Arts. This is a virtual space where you can connect with everything arts happening in Ballard - from thrash metal shows to knitting classes. 

First thing we're working on getting our calendar populated with all of the awesome things that you have planned! Use this form: Submit Your Event and we'll put it on the calendar. It's that easy and totally free. Why, because we have a passion for supporting the cultural vibrancy in Ballard.
